Stacey frequently speaks on business law, estate planning, and probate at a variety of events, including continuing legal education courses for attorneys and events sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Selected speaking engagements include:
Speaker: Stacey taught a continuing legal education course (“CLE”) as part of the Washington State Bar Association’s (WSBA) annual readmission program. This CLE is mandatory for attorneys who were once members of the Washington Bar, had their licenses lapse for a various reasons, and now seek to be readmitted to practice. She joined Jeanne Marie Clavere, Professional Responsibility Counsel of the WSBA, to discuss how the ethical rules, known as the Rules of Professional Conduct, govern lawyers’ participation in social media. Speaker: Stacey was invited to help train the business attorneys of tomorrow, at the King County Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education course entitled, “Bridging the Gap.” Stacy discussed ways for new business attorneys need to guide their clients in forming legally sound corporations and LLC’s.
