News from the Desk: October 2022

Happy fall! October is an important “awareness” month as National Estate Planning Awareness Week falls on the third week of October. This has us asking: When did you last review your estate planning documents? What changes have occurred in your life since then? I’d encourage you to use this occasion to initiate or revisit the estate planning process.

October is also Women’s Small Business Month. As a woman-owned and staffed business, we’d like to celebrate ourselves and also all of our intrepid female counterparts!

I spent a fun few days visiting friends in Memphis last month. I loved visiting the National Civil Rights Museum, “the birthplace of rock and roll”- the famous Sun Studio Café, enjoying jumbo shrimp and grits at Itta Bena, and feeding leaves to my new friend Nicholas at the Memphis Zoo!

Lastly, a fond farewell, as our long-term teammate Erin Cranston departs our office. Thanks so much for all of your good work Erin! You will be missed.

As always, I would love to hear your questions and comments. If you have any questions about our firm and the work we do, please contact us or visit our website.
