News from the Desk: April 2020

I hope you are staying healthy and safe through this challenging time.

We continue to do our work in probate, estate planning and business law. Our law firm has operated virtually since its inception in 1999. We are well versed in performing our legal work effectively while working remotely, and we continue working with our clients in a similar way as we always have. That said, we are no longer meeting with clients in person outside of estate planning signing appointments. Outside of that context, we communicate with our clients via email, telephone and, if needed, video conferencing. In addition, at times, like all other businesses, we struggle with obtaining needed work product from outside vendors in a timely manner. And, for our team members who have young children, it can be challenging to work from home now that the schools are closed and no other child care options are available. We truly appreciate our clients’ patience, grace and good humor as we do our best to work through these issues.

We have received numerous requests lately from both current and potential clients in relation to estate planning. We understand your concerns and consider it an honor to provide assistance during this time. Additionally, we are happy to answer any questions our business clients may have concerning their obligations related to existing contracts and commercial leases, in light of the many mandated changes and closures.

As always, I would love to hear your questions and comments. If you have any questions about our firm and the work we do, please contact us or visit our recently updated website: https://staceyromberg.com/.
