Stacey frequently speaks on business law, estate planning, and probate at a variety of events, including continuing legal education courses for attorneys and events sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Selected speaking engagements include:

Speaker: Business Law Basics.  U.S. Small Business Administration’s annual “Biz Fair.”  September 28, 2013.

Speaker: Small Business Administration Biz Fair at Renton Technical  College.  September 24th, 2011 and September 25th, 2010.  Two seminars presented:

  • Which Business Entity is Best for You? Pros and cons of the various forms of business structures: sole proprietorship, corporation, and LLC.
  • Business Law Essentials. Stacey will be sharing some of the details involved in starting your own business  Learn how to register a trade name, negotiate a lease, put agreements in writing, select a legal structure, find the right lawyer, and meet other challenges you may encounter when starting or running a business.
