Attorney at Law
ABOUT MARISA

I’m a Seattle native with deep roots in this city and a passion for helping people navigate major life transitions with clarity and confidence. I focus my practice on estate planning and probate because I love working closely with individuals and families, whether that means helping them plan for the future or guiding them through the complexities of estate administration after the loss of a loved one.
In addition to my work with families, I enjoy supporting small business clients. I come from a family of entrepreneurs and understand firsthand the challenges and rewards of building something from the ground up. I’m passionate about helping our community businesses thrive by offering practical legal guidance with a personal touch.
I grew up in a bilingual household – my mother is from Rome, Italy, and my father is from the East Coast. I’ve always been surrounded by different cultures, languages, and ways of thinking. I went to Garfield High School, where I fell in love with dance and music, two passions I continue to pursue in my adult life.
I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, where I triple majored in Italian, Political Science, and Law, Societies & Justice. I graduated with Honors and had the opportunity to spend two quarters studying juvenile justice and diversion programs in King County as part of a small, select cohort. That experience sparked my decision to pursue a career in law, and I stayed in Seattle to attend the University of Washington School of Law.
While in law school, I immersed myself in both academic and extracurricular opportunities. I served as President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Association, competed in national mock trial competitions, and worked as the Associate Editor-in-Chief of the International Law Review. I was also a Hazelton Fellow in Evidence and Contracts, supporting professors with research and mentoring 1L students.
My early legal experience included in-house internships at Zillow and Avalara. I learned a lot from those opportunities, but I soon realized I wanted to widen my skill set to include litigation. That led me to a role as a Rule 9 Licensed Legal Intern at a personal injury and immigration law firm in Seattle’s International District, where I gained valuable courtroom experience and developed my skills as an advocate.
In my final year of law school, I took a course in Community Property and immediately felt drawn to estate planning and probate. Since then, I’ve focused my legal practice in this area, helping clients feel informed and empowered as they make important decisions for themselves and their loved ones.
When I’m not practicing law, you can usually find me teaching barre fitness classes and hosting pasta-making workshops where I share my family’s authentic Italian recipes. I’m also working toward my 200-hour yoga certification to continue expanding my approach to wellness and balance both in and out of the legal world.
About Stormi
Stormi was named for her dramatic flair and undeniable presence – equal parts elegance and chaos. Despite her small size, she considers herself a protector and takes her role as head of security very seriously, though her hours are entirely self-directed and heavily influenced by sunbeam availability. Stormi’s professional contributions include walking across keyboards at critical moments, supervising video calls from atop bookshelves, and enforcing mandatory cuddle breaks. While her security measures might be useless, her charm is off the charts.
