News from the Desk: August 2022

By August 9, 2022 No Comments

Happy August! We hope your July was enjoyable and that this month will give you time to rest, relax and enjoy the glorious (and hopefully cooler) Northwest weather!

I am humbled and grateful to have been, once again, named as a 2022 Super Lawyer in estate planning and probate! Super Lawyers is a national attorney rating service that selects lawyers based on peer review and professional achievement. Read more here!

I will be conducting a live Q&A session on August 11 for the replay of my Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) Readmission CLE (continuing legal education course) related to “Social Media & Your Law Practice.” On August 12, Sherry will do the same for her WSBA Readmission CLE presentation, “Professional Responsibility and Client Communications.” Sherry and I both enjoy the nuances of legal ethics and hope the upcoming discussions will be lively and informative.

As many of you may know, Sherry and I are members of the Estate Planning Council of Seattle (EPC). On August 10, I will attend the EPC’s virtual Lunch & Learn, entitled An Overview of Planning and Issue‑Spotting for Multinational Individuals and Families. I’m looking forward to learning more about working with our estate planning clients who have international beneficiaries and assets.

As always, I would love to hear your questions and comments. If you have any questions about our firm and the work we do, please contact us or visit our website.
