It’s been a busy spring so far! Sherry and I attended a reception for Women’s History Month hosted by the National Association of Women Judges and King County Washington Women Lawyers at the law firm of Dorsey Whitney on March 22. Former Washington governor Christine Gregoire spoke about the increasingly critical role attorneys will play in our society due to the policies of the current political administration.
On April 21 and 22, Tennis Outreach Programs (TOPs) is hosting a Youth Tennis and Enrichment ProAm Tournament. The ProAm Tournament features many top tennis pros from our area including Jesse Schouten, Alex Vlaski, JJ Jackson, Brian Wilson, and Mark and Gail Hanson. It’ll be a terrific event, and the funds raised will be used to support our kids! Tickets for the Player Auction and Tournament can be found here.
I was both humbled and honored to be profiled in this month’s King County Bar Bulletin! Each month, this publication highlights the career of a notable attorney in King County. I was even more delighted that Sherry wrote the article! I enjoyed talking about my passion for tennis and the law. And, of course, I had to laugh at my caricature. In fun and tropical Spring Break news, Sherry is visiting the Big Island of Hawaii this week, and Katie is visiting Disneyland next week, for much-deserved (and warm) vacations with their families!
