News from the Desk: February 2020

Happy February! As Seattleites brave the cold and rain (and sometimes snow), our office enjoys helping our clients with their estate planning, small business and probate needs. Please contact us if you need legal assistance in these areas!

Our office enjoyed a lovely team dinner on February 6 at my house! For those of you who live in the Seattle area, you may remember the insanely delicious Santa Fe Café, which was located in the Greenwood neighborhood. The restaurant is, sadly, long gone but thankfully the former owner now does catering. We enjoyed a delicious New Mexican dinner complete with garlic custard, enchiladas and posole! Being a virtual firm, we all work from home offices so it’s always fun to get together in person to catch up and eat great, local food.

As many of you know, I am an avid tennis fan and former player. I am extremely excited that Fed Cup came for the first time ever to Everett, Washington on February 7-8! Even more exciting–I scored a second row seat to the event! Fed Cup is a team competition for women, and in this case, the best women tennis players in the United States successfully took on Latvia in a qualifying competition to advance to the finals. As a junior tennis player, I competed for Idaho’s junior Fed Cup team against teams from other states–but this was my first time seeing the “big time” Fed Cup team (including Serena Williams) in action!

Last, but certainly not least, our beloved Office Morale Leader, Roger, turns 11 on February 18! Please join us in wishing Roger a very happy birthday!

As always, I would love to hear your questions and comments. If you have any questions about our firm and the work we do, please contact us.
