Our team has been keeping busy with work and fun! Tonight (August 8), we will gather for a team dinner to catch up in person and enjoy a great local meal. As a virtual firm, we always appreciate a chance to meet up in person!
On August 9, I will take part in the National Women’s Business Council Solutions Lab – Ensuring Success for Millennial Women as Leaders and Entrepreneurs. Co-hosted by Council Member Whitney Keyes, “the Solutions Lab brings together a roundtable of women entrepreneurs, business leaders, researchers, policy officials, and entrepreneurial development organizations, to discuss the Council’s recent research findings on millennial women and connect them to solutions that advance women leaders across the country.” I am honored to be invited to participate, and look forward to exploring these issues.
Speaking of fun, my summer interests often revolve around tennis. If you are looking for something that your children can get involved with this summer and fall, I invite you to think about tennis! I’m so fortunate to serve on the Board of Directors for Tennis Outreach Programs. We operate the Eastside Tennis Center, the top junior tennis facility in the Pacific Northwest. The Eastside Tennis Center is a public facility, and a nonprofit designed to “serve” kids.
