News from the Desk: December 2015

On behalf of our office team, I want to wish you a happy, healthy and fun holiday, and a peaceful start to 2016!

Sherry, Lisa, Andrea and I made the holidays jolly when we attended the King County Bar Association’s Solo and Small Firm holiday lunch on December 10. Sherry is the Chair of the Solo and Small Firm Section, and we all enjoyed supporting her during a fun and festive afternoon. This lunch is considered the “office party” for small law firms who do not otherwise have a holiday party, and is a way for lawyers in our community to get together and develop collegiality within the profession. As you can see, we had a great time!

I am again honored and excited to host, for the third year, the Best of WSBA CLE 2015, a continuing legal education course sponsored by the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA), on December 30 and 31. As Moderator, my job description includes providing participants with needed information, answering questions, coordinating on-line discussions, and, on a more humorous level, channeling my inner Tina Fey by attempting to be an entertaining host! If you’re an attorney who is interested in attending, click here to register.

As always, I would love to hear your questions and comments. If you have any questions about our law firm and the work we do, please contact me or visit our website.
