Hello everyone!
As I stated in our January newsletter, on December 30th, I served as the Moderator for the Washington State Bar Association’s (WSBA) “Best of CLE” program. I was impressed that 189 attorneys attended this webinar, many from distant locations, including London and Singapore! The WSBA requires lawyers to earn a number of continuing legal education credits over a three-year period in order to retain our license to practice law. As many of you know, I consistently teach these courses. After the Best of CLE program, I was gratified to receive a thank you note from a WSBA employee, which stated in part, “Thank you for making the Best of CLE the best ever. Your lively introductions set everyone up to learn, and your questions and comments in the chat rooms kept everyone engaged.”
As I enter my 27th year of practicing law, I continue to strive to enhance my skills and provide top-notch legal advice and service to all of our clients. Teaching these continuing legal education courses provides me with an avenue to learn, and also a way to contribute to the profession which has given me so much.
On February 26th, I look forward to speaking on Business Law Essentials to entrepreneurs on behalf of the U.S. Small Business Administration. This event is free, and if you’re interested in registering, click here.

Your Business Partner Isn’t Your Valentine
