Happy Holidays!

This time of year tends to be hectic, fun, and eventful. It’s a busy time of year for our office, as our clients often seek to complete business transactions and estate planning documents by year end. We enjoy helping our clients meet their end-of year deadlines, so that the task labeled “Complete Legal Work” can be checked off their packed holiday to do lists!

On December 30th, for the second year, I will serve as the Moderator for the Washington State Bar Association’s “Best of CLE” Program. This webinar tends to be popular with attorneys who, dare I say, might have procrastinated in meeting their required allotment of continuing legal education credits. This year’s program focuses primarily on ethical issues, and should be interesting! As Moderator, my job description includes providing participants with needed information, answering questions, coordinating on-line discussions, and, on a more humorous level, channeling my inner “Tina Fey” by attempting to be an entertaining hostess!

As I’ve mentioned previously, this year we’ve added six new videos to our firm’s website! The video below is the final one to be shared in our firm’s newsletter. It’s a one minute video introducing our firm’s probate practice. I find probate to be highly rewarding work, because we can provide comfort and assistance to the decedent’s friends and family members who are mired in the intricacies involved in administering an estate. And, I feel proud to facilitate carrying out someone’s last wishes. Please contact our office if you’d like more information about our probate and estate administration practice.

What is Probate?

As always, I would love to hear your questions and comments. From all of us, we wish you a happy, fun & safe holiday season!
